Groupe SEB, marketer of the exciting new Tefal Cuisine Companion benchtop appliance, has begun scheduling in-store demonstrations and hospitality evenings — self-styled as “VIP events” — at Harvey Norman stores in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

These events are free for prospective customers and include drinks and canapes, a demonstration of the Cuisine Companion in action and the chance to purchase one of these hotly anticipated multicookers.

Scheduled primarily for metropolitan regions, these VIP events are set to take place at Harvey Norman outlets in Alexandria, Penrith, Auburn and Balgowlah (New South Wales); Chadstone and Maribyrnong (Victoria); Bundall and Oxley (Queensland); Gepps Cross (South Australia); and City West (Western Australia). All of these events are scheduled for either 3 or 4 March 2015.

Tefal’s Cuisine Companion is tipped to be the first Thermomix-style appliance to truly succeed in a retail setting. The appliance will retail under a pro forma model for RRP $1,699. Harvey Norman is the exclusive launch partner of the Cuisine Companion though more stores are expected to be added through 2015.
