The NARTA buying group announced a staff restructure in August with new roles announced for Darren Spencer and Tanya Mudge. In a statement from NARTA chief executive officer, Michael Jackson, the changes to the business follow the return of Mudge from maternity leave to re-join the business on a full time basis.

“Tanya’s return enables us to make some structural changes that will allow greater alignment with our member retailers and key supplier partners as well as provide ongoing improvements to business and operational efficiency,” Jackson said in the statement.

“As a result, there are two key role changes we are making to prepare us for both the opportunities and challenges ahead. Darren Spencer has been promoted to general manager, overseeing the total business and operation of NARTA. Darren has been operations and marketing manager since 2011. In his new role, Darren will have a greater strategic focus on total NARTA business and operations.

“Reporting to Darren, Tanya Mudge will transition to business operations and marketing manager with a key focus of strategic alignment to the group’s key suppliers; integration, roll out and improvements to systems as well as assume the responsibility for marketing, finance and warranty,” Jackson said.
