Installs new management platform.
Following a review to clean up and overhaul its legacy ERP system, floorcare retailer Godfreys has invested in a more agile and scalable management platform. The group was in the market for a next generation, future-proof business management platform with the flexibility to add customised functionality to manage the company’s growth.
“We wanted to avoid new hardware, as well as having to manage databases and operating systems in-house,” IT manager, Mark Norman said. “We chose to partner with Pronto Software as they ticked all the boxes, demonstrating the ability to manage the whole product life cycle at Godfreys, as well as extract critical business information. As a sales business, it is important we have the right product in store to meet our sales teams and customer demands.
“Our supply chain is critical to the operation of the business and we needed a management platform that is very reliable and accessible all of the time,” he said. The web-based user interface offered in Pronto Xi allows Godfreys staff to review product information, customer queries and sales updates from their fingertips, and act faster.
As part of the tender process, Godfreys was seeking a partner who could provide an end-to-end, easy to use platform to manage all facets of the organisation from financials and warehouse to inventory and sales as well as be accessible at any time to all staff from desktops, tablets and mobile devices. As well, the platform needed to deliver business intelligence functionality to allow for faster, more informed decision-making and offer fast and seamless integration with third-party businesses.
