Another collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana.

Smeg is continuing its partnership with Dolce & Gabbana to release the Sicily is my Love small appliance collection of toasters, coffee machines, kettles, blenders and stand mixers, decorated with the fruits and symbols of Sicily. Designs include golden lemons, prickly pears and bright red cherries. Other patterns include florals inspired by the coasts and landscapes of Southern Italy; images of Mt. Etna: the ruins of the Greek temple of Castor and Pollux in the Valley of Temples.

Smeg Australia head of brand, Tamara Buchanan said, “We are very excited about Sicily is my Love and very proud to be the very first to bring couture design to appliances. Not only are these small appliances beautiful, but they also embody Smeg’s unique philosophy regarding design and efficiency.

“Smeg’s credentials in high quality engineering and leading technologies are unquestionable, but Smeg is also the only brand to successfully collaborate with iconic designers and architects, to bring true designer style into the home.”

The small appliance range was unveiled at the Milan Design Fair, Salone del Mobile di Milano. The collaboration follows the FAB by Smeg refrigerators hand-painted by Sicilian artists. Australian availability and RRPs of the Sicily is my Love small appliances are yet to be confirmed.
