Dyson has unveiled its latest purifier range with a new filter to improve gas capture while trapping ultrafine particles. The Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link™ purifier heater includes a new and improved compact filtration technology – the 360 degree glass HEPA filter for particulate capture includes an extra layer of activated carbon for improved gas capture.

The filter in the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link™ purifier heater automatically captures 99.95% of fine particles such as allergens, pollutants including potentially harmful gases that can be emitted inside homes.

James Dyson said, “We have been developing filtration systems for 25 years starting with vacuums that manipulate airflow using sophisticated cyclones to capture pollutants. Now, our obsessive approach to engineering has led us to take a different approach to purification. It is our most advanced purifying technology yet to ensure that the air in our homes is cleaner.”

This intelligent machine automatically detects airborne pollutants and purifies the air as well as monitors the air to maintain your preferred temperature. Users can track their air quality with the Dyson Link app which provides live reporting on both indoor and outdoor air quality, based on a location of your choice. The app shows if air quality is poor to good and now showcases easy to visualise humidity and temperature graphs too.

The new Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link™ purifier heater uses Dyson patented Air Multiplier™ technology. Up to 200 litres of air per second is projected, to provide a long-range stream of purified air around the whole room.

The Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link™ purifier heater is also engineered to use Dyson Jet Focus technology; for concentrated personal heating and cooling, air is released from a jet and accelerated over an air foil shaped ramp to produce a focused flow of air. For whole room use, a second jet of air joins the first, broadening its angle, to produce a wide stream of powerful airflow.

Dyson global category director for environmental control Paul Dawson said, “Our starting point for purification has been real homes and real consumers. Modern houses are better sealed in terms of their construction – but it also limits air circulation around the home environment. We needed to rethink purification in response, so our machine simultaneously purifies the air and projects a powerful airflow across the room.”

The new Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link™ purifier heater is available in white/silver and black/nickel from Dyson.com.au and all major electrical retailers and department stores for an RRP of $799.
