The Jura WE8 automatic coffee machine was one of only around 100 entries overall to receive a 2017 Good Design Award.
The Jury commented: “The WE8 is a fit for purpose design in any commercial environment. A challenging design brief that has been executed very well. Designing a product for this environment of use is very challenging where elements such as clean user-interface design and uncomplicated and intuitive controls are essential – the Jura WE8 deliverers these elements in a beautiful and high-tech package that is a joy to use.”
On receiving the award, Jura head of sales, George Liakatos said, “We are always thrilled to receive acknowledgement in these awards. We know the judging criteria is of the highest calibre and of course it is always satisfying to be acknowledged at this level by your peers.
“The WE8 provides next-level coffee quality in a professional environment, as well as being intuitive to use, easy to clean, and ticking the sustainability box with the use of fresh beans, and not capsules or pods.”
