On TVSN program.

TV Shopping Network (TVSN) sold out of the full allocation of Smeg coffee machines in the first ten minutes of a recent 54-minute live show. The machines were sold at full retail price of $499 with customers also receiving a barista pack with Smeg branded double-wall espresso cups and other coffee accouterments.

TVSN’s unique selling ideology encompasses hands-on product demonstration with an emphasis on lifestyle and owner benefits. Smeg representative and national training manager, Rodney Manauzzi, joined TVSN host Lee Bradley to put the coffee machine through its paces.

TVSN category manager for kitchen, Tiahni Daley said, “To achieve a sell-out result with a cooking appliance brand only ten minutes into a 54 minute live broadcast is unprecedented at TVSN. We were delighted to achieve this result with Smeg.”

Smeg Australia head of brand, Tamara Buchanan commented, “Appearing on TVSN gives us an opportunity to really connect with our customers. We can tell the Smeg brand story and highlight both the design credentials and technological features of our products to a national audience.”

The espresso coffee machine joins Smeg’s stand mixer and blender in the TVSN format. Smeg small appliances are also available nationally from David Jones, Myer, Harvey Norman and leading appliance retailers.
