$30,000 in equipment available.

Canon Oceania is offering not-for-profit organisations and local schools an opportunity to be part of the Canon Grants Program, Inspiring Tomorrow. Canon is offering six grants of $5,000 and one runner-up grant of $1,000 worth of Canon equipment, as part of its commitment to support groups who are addressing societal and environmental issues that can make a positive difference in their communities.  As well as the impact their project will have, winners will also be selected on the significance Canon’s products can have in ensuring the project’s success.

Inspiring Tomorrow brings to life the company’s corporate philosophy of Kyosie, meaning ‘living and working together for the common good’. “Canon supports those making a positive contribution in their communities and wants to empower them with the tools to share their story,” managing director, Yusuke Mizoguchi said. “We are excited to broaden the program this year to also give a helping hand to those addressing social issues, and encourage anyone who fits this criteria to apply.”

Applications are open until August 4, 2017.
