To cement brand position.

Schweigen has welcomed Mark Easton (pictured below) as the new Queensland brand manager to support and manage the growth of the brand across the state. Easton will be responsible for cementing the brand’s position as market leaders in silent rangehoods, and further developing the business and customer base.

He brings a wealth of retail industry experience, predominately acquired at Whirlpool Home Appliances where he began as an account manager and worked his way through various roles before moving into national account management. After leaving Whirlpool, Easton owned and operated a Hire A Hubby franchise for two years, and has spent the last two years at Sharp Corporation Australia as channel sales manager for the Queensland business.

Commenting on his appointment, Easton said, “I am excited to be coming back to the cooking market and joining such an innovative and customer focused company. Schweigen is doing some exciting things in the market and I am thrilled to be part of their story and journey.”

Schweigen managing director, Anthony Fletcher said Mark is a fantastic fit for the company and is looking forward to seeing his leadership take Schweigen to the next level in Queensland.

“Mark’s key areas of responsibility include business development, training staff and adding value to our customers. He will also be responsible for promoting our unique ‘silent story’ to Queenslanders. We are looking forward to working with an industry specialist who understands our customers’ needs and has a passion for the business and the trade,” he said.
