To cook and dine with its ambassadors.

Last week, Taste of Sydney, in partnership with Electrolux, held at Sydney’s Centennial Parklands, attracted more than 22,000 foodies for its ninth instalment.

A key highlight of the food festival was Electrolux Chef Secrets, hosted by Electrolux ambassador, Massimo Mele. It enabled visitors to expand their culinary skills as they cooked and dined with renowned chefs, who taught guests how to cook one of their signature dishes.

Commenting on the company’s involvement in Taste was Electrolux marketing director, Anastasia Barlas. “As a brand that designs both professional and household appliances, we are pleased to be involved in an event that supports and celebrates the professional chefs who are leading the way when it comes to the future of Australian cooking and dining experiences.

“Taste of Sydney provides Electrolux with a platform to engage our core consumers; passionate foodies who are seeking the right tools to create great-tasting food and memorable experiences at home. Our partnership with Taste of Sydney is an extension of Electrolux’s global alignment with Taste Events around the world including Sydney, London, Milan, Amsterdam and Dubai.”

The Electrolux Ambassadors were engaged for Taste of Sydney 2017 to share their skills and expertise with the company’s retail partners including Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Winning Appliances who attended as guests of Electrolux. Barlas confirmed that this integration will be replicated at Taste of Melbourne in November 2017.

“With their combined knowledge, skill and expertise, the Electrolux Ambassadors are a great source of inspiration for food-lovers and passionate home cooks – whether it be developing recipes, showcasing new cooking techniques or sharing tips for entertaining in the home,” she said.

In 2016 Electrolux signed a three year title partnership with Taste restaurant festivals in Australia.
