Catch launches first ever TV campaign

To raise brand awareness.

Catch has launched a series of four brand and retail TV commercials in a bid to raise awareness among Australian consumers. The core message is centred on ‘Screamin’ Good Deals’ with the four 15 second spots.

The campaign runs on Channel Nine in prime time Today Show, Nine News NOW and A Current Affair, in addition to activity on 9Go, 9Life and 9Gem. This has been complemented with digital campaigns across 9Now, YouTube, Facebook and programmatic video.

Catch will also run radio and metro outdoor. The radio campaign includes a promotion that calls out for people to create their own version of the TVC, upload it to social media with the hashtags #catch and #screamingooddeals for the chance to win cash prizes, worth up to $10,000.

Catch Group head of marketing, Ryan Gracie said, “People are always asking the question ‘Where’d you get that?’ It’s part of the Aussie vernacular. Catch.com.au is Australia’s largest online retailer with over 50,000 products on offer across a range of categories including technology, fashion, sports, homewares and more. Offering great brands and products at fantastic prices is what we do, and we want the reflex answer to ‘Where did you get that?’ to become Catch.”
