New features and design aspects.

Asko introduced a full range of new built-in combined fridge/freezers, fridges and freezers with new features including Dura Fresh, Automatic Humidity Control and unique handmade wooden accessories at IFA in Berlin earlier this month. Asko has confirmed that the refrigerators will launch in the Australian market in the second half of 2018.

Thanks to the automatic humidity level control, the Dura Fresh drawers have the optimal environment to make meats, fruits and vegetables stay fresh for longer. The upper drawer in the refrigerator has a low humidity which means +/- 20% humidity and temperature between minus two degrees Celsius and five degrees Celsius, perfect for fish, meat, and dairy products.

The bottom drawer has high humidity, between 60 and 90% and temperature between zero degrees Celsius and seven degrees Celsius, ideal for storing fruit and vegetables. Both drawers also have telescopic slides and soft closing.

The new built-in refrigerators have unique accessories to improve the storage of items inside the fridge as well as a support for serving, such as the breakfast tray.

The new door hinge solution gives a maximum opening angle of the doors to 115 degrees for maximum accessibility. The door of the kitchen furniture does not need separate hinges since it is attached direct to the cabinet door.
