SYDNEY: Groupe SEB Australia has restructured their team of merchandisers and demonstrators by merging the two groups to form a 16 member team of consultants who will undertake in-store demonstrations, staff training and merchandising activity Australia-wide.
The restructure was made so that Groupe SEB could serve retailers more effectively. The team of 16 consultants, will service all states in Australia with representation across department stores and Independent retailers. There will be five consultants in the NSW region, three in the Queensland region, six in Victoria and two in the Western Australian region.
Melissa O’Brien has been appointed as a new consultant for the South-East Sydney area. Melissa previously worked part time in merchandising for AGL and prior to that she worked as an account manager for Electrolux.
Amanda Collis has commenced in the Queensland region having previously worked in the kitchen ware department of David Jones, Mt Gravatt, Brisbane.
“These changes and appointments will help us meet our strategic initiatives to support the rest of the requirements of our business,” said Groupe SEB’s trade marketing manager, Kerry Chappell.
“We are confident that with this new structure in place we will be able to service our accounts and customers much more effectively through stronger in store presence, increased frequency of demonstrations and better customer service.
“We believe the team will continue to make significant contributions to further growing our brands and we expect to achieve stronger results.”
