SYDNEY, NSW: Sony Australia has today confirmed that 10 staff members were let go earlier this month.
In a brief statement to Current.com.au, a spokesperson said that these staff changes were across the whole Sony Australia set up.
“Earlier this month Sony Australia made some staff changes which were necessary to align with business plans for its new fiscal year. Ten staff across the business were impacted by the changes,” reads the statement.
This news comes just weeks after Current.com.au revealed that Panasonic Australia had let 18 staff members go in a similar business alignment restructure.
