SYDNEY, NSW: Toshiba has today released seven new models in its Satellite range of retail consumer notebooks. Features of the new models include USB 3.0 and improved battery life.

Talking about the new range, which starts at RRP $599, is B2C product marketing manager Anthony Geronimo.

“Consumers are looking to connect, share and enjoy content in their own homes, whether it’s streaming video to their TV, viewing photos, browsing the web or listening to music in high quality,” he said. “The Satellite range of notebooks ensures seamless connectivity in the home.”

Geronimo highlighted three key features included in the Satellite range: USB 3.0 for transfer speeds up to 10 times faster than 2.0; a 25 per cent increase in battery life; and Resolution+, which upscales low definition content into HD for watching videos on an HD TV.
