Samsung has launched a new free program to help its business consumers recycle empty printer cartridges.

Called Samsung Takeback and Recycle Toner (START), the program has been designed as a simple way for business owners to encourage the leftovers from printer use, which could otherwise end up in landfill.

According to Samsung, customers need to register with Samsung’s program partner Close The Loop to receive a starter kit including a collection box and liners. Used items can them be placed in this box, with a call to Close The Loop’s customer service centre triggering a pick-up.
