Publicly listed Singaporean company Ban Leong has taken ownership of Audion Innovision, following the retirement of former CEO Boyd Dainton after 20 years in the consumer electronics distribution industry.

The new acting general manger is Ray Anshuman, who was previously the national sales manager. Anshuman said this was an exciting time for Audion, which was founded in Victoria in 1987.

“We will endeavour to create a more progressive organisation that considers all stakeholders while conducting its day to day operations,” he said.

“Ban Leong’s involvement marks a very exciting time for Audion, providing us with greater access to exciting new brands that we will be able to bring to the Australian Marketplace. Audion will also benefit greatly from utilising Ban Leong’s wealth of knowledge and resources.”

“We will continue to lead, create, and shape the trend of tech-savvy products by presenting quality, innovative, user-focused products, and to expand with more brands, provide value added service to our suppliers, enhance the customers relationship and after sales service,” Teng said.

In Sinagpore, Ban Leong currently distributes brands including Logitech, Asus, Belkin, Nvidia, Razer, Trend Micro, eGear, Powercooler and Sarotech.
