Asko has launched a new range of commercial washing machines. The Swedish company has previously been the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for other commercial laundry brands.
Asko national marketing manager James Vogdanos said this was a natural progression for the local office.
“Asko has building commercial laundry machines for more than 20 years,” he said. “We believe this release is the perfect extension to our highly acclaimed domestic laundry.
“Unlike many of our competitors, our commercial washing machines are also water and energy rated, giving our business partners a full understanding of what the machines consume and will cost them to run.”

Vogdanos said Asko’s commercial washers come with 22 programs and customisable programs. He said one of the problems with commercial washers was the limitations placed on users by not having enough options.
“We have the ability to make a washing machine cater to your specific needs — no longer are you locked into what a company is offering as a program. For example, cleaning companies require special programming with extra water to clean mop heads, and an Asko can do that.”
Vogdanos concluded by saying that Asko tests all the washers and driers to achieve a product lifetime of around 15,000 professional cycles.
