Leading Appliances today launched its new website, one day after it began trading officially. Leading Appliances is home to around 60 former Retravision members, primarily located in regional areas in Australia’s eastern states.
The new website appears to be the same as the old Retravision.com.au, except for the removal of non-applicable pages. It still retains the same menu options at the top and an identical store locator function.

Nicholas Fry, national product and marketing manager at Leading Appliances, told Current.com.au that the website will soon be expanded and that advertising and cataloguing will begin imminently.
“Our website is up and running and will be expanded upon in coming weeks; our first half-page full colour press ad goes to print next week in Fairfax publications; our inaugural 16-page catalogue will be released late April; and all the internal changes, like emails, signage and ticketing have been changed over,” Fry said.
“We’ve had a very smooth and successful transition. Our members are very pleased and excited with everything that’s happened and looking forward with a positive future with Leading Appliances.”
The Leading Appliances website has for the first time revealed the new buying group’s “Preferred Suppliers”. These sixteen brands are: Whirlpool, Simpson, Sharp, Panasonic, Westinghouse, Sunbeam, Palsonic, Haier, Hoover, Kelvinator, Samsung, Hitachi, Fisher & Paykel, Electrolux, Breville and De’Longhi.
