"I started at Spectrum Brands seven weeks ago and I am thoroughly enjoying the new challenge," Gabb said. "My role incorporates both the Russell Hobbs and George Foreman brands and I am responsible for Myer, Target, The Good Guys, Harris Scarfe, Kmart and any other Victorian-based national account.

"Our diverse range of categories incorporates kettles, toasters, surface cooking, food preparation, garment care and floorcare.

"Spectrum Brands is a global company constantly on the move with acquisitions, product development and a strong marketing program for the second half, which includes a virtual re-launch of the George Foreman 'Healthy Cooking' brand – exciting times ahead in a tough market."
