Interdyn, an importer and distributor of premium home entertainment brands, is bringing a very chic and very expensive pair of headphones to Australia and New Zealand.
Headquartered in Paris, French start-up Aedle have created the VK-1 headphones, which are handcrafted by a team in Brittany and will now be sold in Australia for RRP $599.
“Aedle was born from our desire to make a pair of headphones with no compromise between sound quality and design,” said Aedle co-founder Raphael Lebas de Lacour.
The refined minimalist design weighs just 215 grams and is manufactured using T6066 aircraft-standard aluminium and hand-stitched lambskin leather.
According to Interdyn, with “40mm titanium neodymium high performance transducers and a passive bass enhancement system, the VK-1 produces a clean, organic sound.”
The Aedle VK-1 includes a travel bag and detachable 3.5mm aramid fibre-coated cable, plus travel adapters. The headphones are available in VK-1 Classic (silver and brown) or VK-1 Carbon (matte black).
