SodaStream is adding four new cocktail flavours to its range of SodaStream Caps, providing retailers the opportunity to sell SodaStream machines to a broad segment of the Australian population: people who like to drink.
The Happy Hour Caps range includes Piña Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri, Mojito and Cosmopolitan, and from October will be sold in assorted boxes of eight, with a RRP of $9.95, exclusively at Myer.
The Happy Hour Caps will also be available to buy online and, in addition, 500 and 750 millilitre Happy Hour Flavours will be available in David Jones, Kmart and Target stores nationally with a RRP of $7.45 and 8.95.
The caps are a single-dose capsule-based flavouring system which were launched earlier this year and currently the Free and Mixed Classic SodaStreams Caps range are available nationally in Myer, Good Guys, Spotlight, David Jones, Big W and Harvey Norman stores.
SodaStream Caps fasten to the top of a carbonated SodaStream bottle and once clicked into place release the flavouring it the bottle. The patent-pending capsules make virgin cocktails, so alcohol still needs to be added to the mix.
SodaStream has taken a leaf out of Nespresso’s book with the romantic description of the new flavours:
Piña Colada brings a taste of Puerto Rico with flavours of sweet pineapple and coconut, whilst Strawberry Daiquiri will remind drinkers of long, lazy holidays in the Caribbean with hints of strawberry and lime.
The Cuban inspired Mojito offers drinkers the unmistakable flavours of mint muddled with fresh lime and Cosmopolitan adds an air of sophisticated glamour with lime and cranberry flavours.
