The story is about Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore hiring a sizable PR and spin team so it’s only fitting that a newspaper, which relies on these comms pros for access to politicians, mock the decision by putting Ms Moore’s head in a washing machine.
Perhaps most amusing, however, is that in the online version of this story, the above image comes with the disclaimer that this is a “Digitally Altered Image”, just in case anyone was living under the false assumption that Mayer Moore actually stuck her noggin in a washer for a photo shoot…
