Panasonic Australia’s Connected Home System, a monitoring and automation solution for households, offers a new range of devices and kits enable electrical appliances to be remotely activated around the home, and monitored from inside and out.
Panasonic Australia, product marketing manager, Home Automation Samantha Dawson, explained, “The Home Automation market is growing quickly and becoming increasingly important to households. Panasonic has developed a solution that is so simple to set up and then monitor via your smartphone.
“For example, place motion sensors on windows or doors; schedule lights and appliances to turn on and off; and keep watch on specific locations such as your baby’s room or pet’s kennel; or check the car in the garage or driveway.”
The compact DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications)-enabled hub unit provides a long range (up to 300 metres) platform for all the Connected Home devices which can be placed in any room or space. The hub connects easily to the user’s Wi-Fi router. Devices including sensors and cameras can be quickly synced with the system with one push pairing.
There is no monthly fee for monitoring, recording and controlling the Panasonic Connected Home System.
Panasonic offers four Connected Home kits, which are tailored according to different needs: Room Monitoring (RRP$329), Home Monitoring (RRP$549), Home Control (RRP$599) and Home Alert (RRP$769).
