“We are delighted to partner with Nespresso to bring premium quality coffee to our KitchenAid enthusiasts. Taking design cues from our iconic Stand Mixer this eye catching bench top appliance is available in five timeless colours. There is no doubt this stunning machine will make an elegant addition to any kitchen,” KitchenAid Australia marketing director, Geoff Moine said.
“Nespresso and KitchenAid share common values, which include a passion for innovation and design. By partnering with KitchenAid, it will not only offer an opportunity to further grow the portioned coffee machine market, but will also provide a wider offering to Australian consumers,” Nespresso Oceania general manger, Loïc Réthoré added.
Key features of the new machine include a simple loading system with a manual lever designed for use with Nespresso’s 23 Grands Crus coffees, a powerful 19-bar pressure pump to ensure maximum flavour extraction from the coffee, as well as a stainless-steel heating element for precise temperature control.
The new Nespresso by KitchenAid® machine can be set to brew ristretto, espresso and lungo coffees. With up to six-cup calibrations and an easy-to-read LED indicator, the machine offers a range of volume and strength options to suit a variety of preferences. In addition to a fast heat up time of 25 seconds, the used capsule container can hold up to 14 Grand Cru capsules.
The machine will be available in onyx black, candy apple red, empire red, medallion silver and almond cream through the department stores, Peters of Kensington (NSW), E&S Trading and Zoes Kitchen (Victoria) and Kitchen Warehouse (WA) as well as Nespresso’s own national boutiques.
