Responds to consumer insights.
Chef, owned by Electrolux, has introduced a new range of cooking appliances to the 2016 range, with induction, electric and gas cooktops, along with EasyPyro, duo and electric ovens.
Electrolux ANZ category manager for food preparation, Mark Kampmann told Appliance Retailer, Chef closely monitors market trends in cooking, product design and usability and the new range responds to the consumer needs for ovens that are easier to keep clean, particularly without harsh chemicals.
“In addition to offering easy cleaning in many models, our new Duo oven makes it even easy to cater for those larger families with its combined 126 litre gross capacity. Chef Duo also offers a special pizza mode that will allow the user to cook a pizza to perfection in less than ten minutes,” Kampmann said.
“We expect the new range of Chef products to be well received. The early part of the development process of any new Electrolux Home Products appliance involved extensive Consumer Insights research to test concepts with consumers to ensure we bring to market products that truly deliver on the Chef promise of making cooking easier.
“Chef remains one of Australia’s leading brands in the cooker market, making it an important part of most retailers’ cooking offerings. Our retail partners are keen to have the new Chef range of cooking in store as it is sure to deliver increased sales when consumers see what the new Chef range has to offer,” he added.
