Accompanied by soundbar range.
The latest Android TV range for 2020 from Blaupunkt was presented by local distributor, Ayonz Australia at CES in Las Vegas. The Google approved TVs, which will be available in 32-,40-, 55- and 65-inch, are scheduled to launch in late January in Australia, the US and the Middle East.
Google Android TV partner program executive, Chao Wang confirmed with Appliance Retailer that Ayonz brands Blaupunkt, EKO and Seiki are all approved by Google, unlike what another industry source suggests.
The TVs sport a new frameless design, feature Android 9.0 with built-in Google Assist and Chromecast 4K, in addition to Netflix 4K, Prime Video 4K and Google Play store to download other local apps such as Stan and Kayo.
Blaupunkt soundbars will also be launching into the local market for the first time with the top of the line model featuring Dolby Atmos for a more cinematic experience in the home.
