The new Ultimate Ears Hyperboom Bluetooth speaker boasts three times the sound and more than six times the bass of its predecessor, the Megaboom 3.
In addition to IPX4 water resistant rating and up to 24 hours of battery life, the Hyperboom supports four input sources – two Bluetooth, one 3.5mm auxiliary and one optical audio. New features include easy music sharing and Adaptive EQ which reads the environment – whether it be indoors or outdoors – and adjusts the sound accordingly.
One-touch music control means users can play, pause and skip tracks directly on the speaker and launch playlists from Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music and Deezer Premium at the touch of a button. Hyperboom is supported on the Boom app that allows users to set up playlists, remotely turn the speaker on or off, adjust volume and more.
Ultimate Ears head of product management, Mindy Fournier said, “With Hyperboom, we are taking our signature UE sound and making it bigger and louder than ever. Starting with beautifully rich sound, thumping bass and phenomenal dynamic range at any level, we also added party-ready features.”
The Hyperboom speaker is available for RRP $599 in select retailers including JB Hi-Fi and online.
