Winning Group chief operating officer, Jo Devery has confirmed that group face-to-face training will recommence at the Winning Academy in Rosehill, Sydney on 16 July with supply partners participating in the sessions from mid-August. Online training will continue to complement face-to-face training.
“Since the impact of COVID-19 and with social distancing measures in place, we have delivered over 60 hours of online training with 18 suppliers, reaching over 1,500 attendees via face-to-face, video and the online portal,” Devery told Appliance Retailer.
“We have also had suppliers provide virtual training to our teams through our online video portal. We look forward to the group face-to-face training sessions recommencing and our Academy continuing to deliver our team an all-encompassing approach to training, including product knowledge, marketing, content, supply chain and services,” she said.
The Winning Appliances showrooms around the country re-opened in May after they were temporarily closed in late March.
