TCL Electronics has showcased its latest product line-up across tablets, smartwatches and wireless headphones at IFA in Berlin, designed to complement the recently launched TCL 10 Series smartphones.
New TabMax and TabMid tablets
The TCL 10 TabMax (pictured above) features innovative display technology with NXTVISION to deliver vibrant colours and rich details. The 10.36-inch display, 8.3mm narrow bezels and widescreen layout are ideal for HD video calls supported by an advanced dual microphone system and 8MP front camera. There is intelligent eye protection to reduce eye strain with no flicker, no harmful blue light and better brightness and tonality in daylight and low light conditions. The large 8000 mAh battery is guaranteed to provide enough charge for full day use.
The TCL 10 TabMid (pictured above) offers a lighter, sleeker design weighing just 325g and measuring only 8.5mm in thickness. NXTVISION ensures the screen won’t lose brightness, contrast or colour at any angle, blue light is reduced to relieve visual fatigue and reading mode adjusts the screen to black and white. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with an octa-core CPU and a high-performance GPU for online gaming. Kids Mode presents a kid-friendly UI and parental controls. Other key features include a 5500 mAh battery for all-day use, one touch fingerprint sensor and 5MP front facing camera and 8MP rear facing camera.
Family Watch range expands
The MoveTime Family Watch MT43A is 4G connected and provides hands-free two way calling, automatic fall detection, heart rate monitoring and medication reminders, in addition to daily activity tracking and sleep monitoring. With an AMOLED touch display and optimised larger icons, its watch face and graphics have been designed for seniors. The device is IP67 water and dust-resistant, meets CCPA and GDPR compliance to protect user privacy and will be available in dark grey and black.
True wireless headphones
The MoveAudio S200 true wireless headphones offer an enhanced audio experience, complete comfort and easy connectivity with other devices. Leveraging ENC noise reduction technology, background noise is reduced and phone calls are guaranteed to be crystal clear. Four built-in microphones use beamforming technology to filter out external noise and focus on the user’s voice.
Each compact earbud is equipped with a highly precise and sensitive coil for deep bass and gentle acoustics. The headphones connect using Bluetooth 5.0 with a dual-Bluetooth transmission that ensures low latency for movies or games. The S200 headphones provide up to 3.5 hours of battery life on a single use, or up to 23 hours of battery life when used with the charging case.
NXTPAPER technology
TCL’s proprietary NXTPAPER display technology is the combination of screen and paper and the culmination of two years of product research and design, including 11 patents for eye protection. This provides full HD definition with display technology that offers a paper-like visual experience in full colour, with no flicker or harmful blue light. NXTPAPER display technology is paired with a reflective screen to repurpose natural light, making it the world’s first “zero eye strain” display that can be used for larger screen surfaces such as tablets. When compared to traditional e-ink or typical LCD, TCL NXTPAPER has higher contrast for better viewing, is lighter and thinner, and offers more than 65% better power efficiency.
