Tefal is supporting the new #Cook2Connect digital campaign that not only raises awareness around access to fresh food, but also raises funds for OzHarvest to provide meals to those in need.
Tefal has come on board to provide a financial contribution to the charity that aligns closely with the brand’s own ethos around food being readily available and being a point of connection where mealtimes become a source of joy and a way to connect with others.
Coordinated by MGI Entertainment, the campaign, #Cook2Connect features a line-up of Australia’s top chefs and foodies, led by Manu Feildel, and encourages Australians to ‘share a plate with a mate’, while also raising money for OzHarvest.
Groupe SEB managing director, Joe Tizzone said, “We are delighted to be supporting the #Cook2Connect campaign. The prospect of Tefal contributing to the mental health and wellbeing of fellow Australians through cooking and food resonates so strongly with our values as an organisation.
“It is such an important narrative to share, especially when so many people are suffering from loneliness and isolation. It’s a great way to bring some much-needed joy and happiness to others.”
The digital campaign will see culinary icons such as Manu and Clarissa Feildel, Adam D’Sylva, Jason Roberts, and more provide home cooks with nourishing recipes.
The #Cook2Connect culinary extracts, presented in short-film style, will bring viewers inside the chefs’ kitchens. Each will show how to prepare dishes that are personally meaningful to the chef, while they share the intimate memories behind the meals.
