Smeg has introduced its first cookware collection, available in black, red and cream, to complement its award-winning small appliances, both designed by Milanese studio, deepdesign.
Inspired by the curves and metal details of the FAB28 fridge and small appliances, the eight-piece cookware collection includes saucepans, frypans, a braising pan, and a wok. The dishwasher friendly cookware is compatible with gas and induction and is suitable for oven cooking as it can withstand temperatures of up to 250 degrees Celsius.
The 4.5mm aluminium body composition with patented base provides thermal conductivity and even heat distribution with non-stick coating that is PFOA-free, resistant to abrasion and easy to clean. The collection is complete with ergonomic handles and tempered glass lids with steam vent.
Smeg Australia managing director, Wayne Campbell said, ‘We are delighted and excited to introduce our first cookware collection, the perfect combination of Italian design and manufacturing with technological innovation. From cooktop and oven to table, the practical collection will provide many different ways to show creativity in the kitchen.”
Smeg’s cookware collection is now available from selected specialist major appliance retailers with pricing from RRP $179 including a five-year warranty.
