At CES 2022, LG Electronics (LG) will unveil its lifestyle TV line-up designed with versatility, style and convenience in mind by helping to transform the home into an office, gym, gallery, workshop or entertainment hub.
The flagship models in the range are the LG Objet TV (65Art90) and LG StanbyME (27Art10), with new form factors and functionality.
Resembling a canvas, LG Objet TV blends seamlessly into any room with minimalistic style and subtle use of neutral colours. LG Objet TV adapts to users’ needs with the press of a button on the LG Remote by raising or lowering a fabric cover as the viewer sees fit. Lowering the cover will reveal the full extent of the screen for a maximum viewing experience or partially cover the display to only see a curated selection of lifestyle functions.
In Full View mode, the 65-inch OLED evo panel on the LG Objet TV and advanced processor offers premium picture quality supported by an 80-watt, 4.2-channel sound system. When set to Line View, the TV can help users stay on track throughout the week with Date & Clock, transform into a convenient audio player in Music settings or display a collection of exclusive space and nature-themed images when set to Gallery.
The interchangeable fabric cover is a product of Danish textile innovator, Kvadrat. The three available colours – Kvadrat Beige, Kvadrat Redwood, Kvadrat Green – have been carefully selected to match a wide colour palette and blend in with a range of interior designs.
The TV is designed to be positioned against a wall at a gentle angle of up to five degrees, just as art is displayed in a gallery. The TV in-cable frame system makes it easy to connect external devices such as a cable set-top box or game console. The TV can also be installed flush to the wall.
Another innovation in the new LG Lifestyle TV line-up, LG StanbyME, is a wireless private TV screen with a built-in battery attached to a moveable stand with concealed wheels that allows for three hours of viewing before recharging.
The LG StanbyME 27-inch screen can be swivelled, tilted and rotated while in both landscape and portrait orientation with an adjustable height.
Streaming content to the LG StanbyME TV is made easy thanks to the Mobile Screen Mirroring feature, which works with the latest Android and iOS smartphones and NFC. A removable cradle lets the viewer place a phone on top of the LG StanbyME to create a fast, secure solution for video calls, online classes and streaming content. Users can also connect laptops or PCs to StanbyME via a wired (USB, HDMI) or wireless connection.
Intuitive control options include remote, touch and gesture recognition. When not being used as a TV, LG StanbyME can help set the mood by displaying beautiful artworks, photos or a calendar with clock.
