Officeworks is opening a new store in Pimpama to service the growing Southeast Queensland region, taking the national network to 168 stores.
The store features premium sustainability integrations including 100% LED lights which feature low wattage and reduce energy consumption, solar panels to help power the store with renewable energy, and a bio water management system that will treat roof and carpark ground water for reuse in the surrounding natural eco system. Customers can dispose unwanted tech and office items at the store’s Bring it Back recycling wall.
Officeworks Pimpama store business manager, Cameron McGhie said, “After a seven-month build, our team is looking forward to opening the doors and connecting with the local Pimpama community. Operating in this growing corridor of Southeast Queensland is an exciting place to be with new businesses, schools and organisations opening that we can help inspire to work, learn create and connect.
“Our large product range offers the latest in tech, arts and crafts, stationery, furniture, office supplies and education resources. We have also prioritised stocking more of the Greener Choices product range, which relies on less plastics and uses more sustainable packaging and materials. The store is also fitted out with on-site Print and Copy services and tech support by Geeks2U.”
To celebrate the opening, a Community Fun Day is planned for 22 October with the surrounding stores in the Home Centre. Giveaways, arts and crafts, complimentary coffee and more will be on offer.
