Smeg continues to offer consumers an elevated culinary experience with award-winning Galileo multi-cooking technology.
The Classic Pyrosteam oven with the beauty of pure steam is the latest hero, creating impressive, chef-like results that are flavoursome and healthy. Behind these results is Smeg’s renowned engineering expertise and redesigned oven cavity; unlike outdated evaporated steam, Smeg injects pure steam into the cavity. The ingenious system ensures the cavity remains dry while food gains succulence, delivering up to six hours of steam assisted cooking and 20% to 40% steam injection via dedicated steam cooking functions: fan grill, supercook, fan assist and fan forced.
Consumers will rely on the power and precision of Smeg’s pure steam for faster cooking without compromising taste or texture. Professional results can be achieved too, with enhanced texture, colour and succulence while retaining flavour and nutrients.
A worthy recipient of 5 stars for innovation excellence by Canstar Blue, the accolade honours Smeg Galileo’s degree of innovation, ‘wow’ factor, uniqueness and market disruption as well as impact on consumers’ lives, as judged by industry experts.
The multi-cooking designation continues with three simple accessories. From a specially designed in-oven barbecue tray with flat and ridged sides for fuss-free grilling without mess or clean-up to an air fry tray to recreate the flavour and texture of fried food in the oven without added fat. Calling on their Italian heritage, Smeg have also created a durable refractory stone for truly authentic pizza and bread.
Smeg’s Classic Pyrosteam oven, in stainless steel and matte black, will be available from major and specialist appliance retailers from February.
