There’s no denying the rising popularity of cold brew coffee. According to recent research by De’Longhi, one in three (33%) Australians are currently drinking cold brew and just over half (51%) are interested in purchasing a machine to make cold brew at home.
The new De’Longhi Eletta Explore Wi-Fi Connect, launching in March, provides over 50 recipes including batch cold brew and combinations with the LatteCrema Cool system to produce cold brew lattes. De’Longhi’s Cold Extraction technology expands coffee occasions beyond the morning ritual, offering new coffee recipes, including cocktails and afternoon refreshments.
With Wi-Fi capabilities, consumers can connect to the Coffee Link app to activate Bean Adapt technology for optimal grind and dose settings, according to the bean type being used. The app also supports new functions including clusters, cold drinks, to-go function and favourites. Users can also create user profiles to personalise and save recipes.
The recently released De’Longhi La Specialista Maestro with Cold Brew technology also responds to the desire for cold coffee beverages by producing café quality cold brew in under five minutes. It also produces an exclusive new De’Longhi recipe, Espresso Cool, for a creamy cold espresso.
“Coffee is embedded within Australian culture. As consumer appetite for quality coffee at home continues to increase, we anticipate people will be looking for ways to make the most of their investment. Purchasing a coffee machine is one way to lower the cost of your daily cup without compromising on quality,” De’Longhi Australia and New Zealand marketing director, George O’Neill says.
The De’Longhi La Specialista Maestro with Cold Brew is now available for RRP $1,999 and the De’Longhi Eletta Explore Wi-Fi Connect will be available from March for RRP $2,199.
