Global TV manufacturer and consumer electronics giant, TCL Electronics has been named the official television partner of the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2023 at Albert Park from 30 March to 2 April.

TCL will deliver audio-visual coverage with the installation of over 800 LCD TVs around the circuit, helping spectators see and hear the on-track action.

TCL Electronics Australia national marketing manager, Rafael Mayen said, “TCL is thrilled to continue its role as official television partner of a world sporting event that shares the same passion for technological innovation.

“TCL ’s visual and audio technologies — which is set to expand in the coming months with new TVs and soundbars along with a wider choice of whitegoods — will put F1 fans in pole position to watch cars tear around Melbourne’s lakeside track in exhilarating detail and hear some of the best racing in the world through a fully immersive audio experience.”

In addition to supplying more screens than ever before, TCL will launch the TCL Recharge Lounge – a dedicated zone for fans to sit back, relax and recharge their electronic devices, while watching the races on the TCL mega screen wall. Crowds will also be able to put their racing abilities to the test on the TCL racing simulator, along with daily prize giveaways.

“Formula One is a breathtaking experience that offers excitement like no other sport and we’re keen to see people come in and enjoy watching the races in the new TCL Recharge Lounge,” Mayen added.

Australian Grand Prix Corporation general manager of sales and commercial, Darian Misko said, “We’re delighted to welcome our major partner, TCL Electronics, back to the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit for a second year. TCL will not only be providing more LCD TV screens but also creating the new TCL Recharge Lounge, which is expected to quickly become a fan favourite throughout the event.”
