GAF Control director of sales and business development, Denis Harvey, has announced his departure from the business at the end of June 2023.
Harvey, who had scaled back his days at GAF from late last year, will focus on his consulting business and more time with his family.
Before joining GAF in 2020, Harvey spent an extensive period at The Good Guys and Kmart in buying and management roles, interspersed with time at Repco, as well as consulting roles at Profectus, Radaro and Catch.
“I have had a great time at GAF. We have managed to diversify the business with the addition of the more premium Laura Ashley print range of kettles and toasters, which has led to delivering a stronger value offering for retailers over our existing first price offer,” Harvey said.
“This is further strengthened by the fact we are now the Australian and New Zealand distributor for Coleman Barbeques so the business is going through an exciting development phase.”
GAF managing director, David Court commented, “Denis has provided great leadership at GAF. We were fortunate to secure him after The Good Guys. He has been a driver of our entry into a more premium product offering, while consolidating our everyday business. He will be missed by all the staff who enjoyed working with him.”
GAF is currently recruiting for the sales and business development role.
