TCL has unveiled its latest product innovations set to launch in the Asia Pacific market at an exclusive event in Bangkok, Thailand. Products on show included Mini LED and QLED TVs, FreshIN+ air conditioning units and other home appliances.

According to data from research and consulting firm, Omdia, TCL’s 98-inch TV was the number one model in the global shipment market from January to December 2022 and number two in global shipments with 23.8 million units between January and December 2022, accounting for 11.7% market share.

TCL introduced its latest TV technology with the C845 Mini LED TV, offering more local dimming zones and brightness levels up to 2,000 nits across 55-, 65-, 75- and 85-inch models. Supported by AiPQ processor 3.0, the TCL C845 delivers enhanced picture quality and unparalleled sound thanks to Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos.

For gamers, TCL introduced its new C745, combining QLED with Full Array Local Dimming technology, 4K HDR and refresh rate of 144Hz VRR and a 240Hz Game Accelerator. The new TCL C645 is equipped with TCL QLED technology, certified with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and offers a 120HZ Game Accelerator.

TCL unveiled its new 2023 Red Dot award-winning S64 Series Dolby soundbars, which pair with TCL TVs for smooth audio with rich bass tones.

TCL also launched a suite of new products for the home designed to enable a seamless and healthy connected lifestyle. This included the Gentle Cool Series air conditioners with a new minimalist design that’s easy to clean and the FreshIN+ Series with an industry-first two-way air replacement system that brings in fresh air and expels poor quality air. In addition, TCL introduced its latest refrigerator and washing machine offerings with health and convenience at the forefront.

TCL also showed its commitment to socially responsible technology solutions that are developed and manufactured in a sustainable way.

As highlighted in its ESG Report, TCL pledged to make significant reductions to improve its environmental impact. By 2025, TCL aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 18%, water consumption by 27%, electricity consumption by 14%, natural gas consumption by 70%, and EPS consumption by 10%. It also plans to reduce its use of large packaging materials by 6%.

TCL has long been a champion of sports to strengthen its influence around the world. In Asia Pacific, TCL is supporting several leading teams and events across the region.

TCL is bringing the world’s largest basketball tournament to the Philippines ahead of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, which will be hosted by multiple nations in Asia for the first time in its history.

Beyond basketball, TCL has several well-established partnerships with leading football teams, including the Spanish and Italian national teams, as well as Arsenal football club, which enjoys a large Asian fanbase. TCL also sponsors the Australian Football League and Melbourne Renegades cricket team.
