Samsung Electronics Australia is bringing the Less Microfibre Cycle to the Australian market, after its debut at CES 2023, as part of its Bespoke AI Laundry launch. The new range delivers the largest capacity, most eco-conscious, efficient and intelligent Samsung laundry solutions to date.
Developed with support from OceanWise and Patagonia, the Less Microfibre Cycle incorporated in Samsung’s Bespoke AI washer and dryer series helps reduce microplastic pollution entering waterways.
By tweaking Samsung’s BubbleWash technology, designed to improve the performance of cold water cycles, and pairing it with a lower agitation rate, Samsung and its partners produced the Less Microfibre Cycle, which can reduce microplastic emissions with every wash cycle.

Samsung’s Bespoke AI front-load washer and dryer models leverage the latest SmartThings enhancements and AI technology, including SmartThings Energy and SmartThings Clothing Care, for added convenience. The laundry products learn individual usage patterns and provide personalised automation based on lifestyles, routines, and preferences.
The new Bespoke AI front load washer range achieves a five-star energy rating across all capacity sizes including 9kg, 12kg and 18kg. With the AI Wash Cycle, clothes are thoroughly and gently washed with less water and detergent after detecting the weight and softness of the fabric and analysing the levels of water turbidity. In addition, the Auto Dispense feature optimises the amount of water and detergent used.
The Bespoke AI dryer with heat pump technology boasts a nine-star energy rating across its 9kg, 10kg and 12kg models. It uses digital inverter compressor technology to dry loads quickly and efficiently using a refrigerant to heat the air, instead of electricity.
The AI Dry technology continually monitors the temperature and humidity while adjusting the settings to ensure optimal drying and reduce energy wastage. The Bespoke AI dryers also use steam to attack bacteria, mites and allergens on clothes and other items, like linen and soft toys, while the Hygiene Care+ cycle sanitises both dry and wet items.
The new Bespoke front load laundry pair feature a modern, flat-front design that can blend into any interior design, finished with a round tempered-glass door. The advanced digital inverter motor is backed by a 20-year warranty for machines sold in Australia.
Available in white and black, the Bespoke AI Smart Washer with Less Microfibre Cycle 12kg is available with RRPs starting from $1,599 and the Bespoke AI Smart Dryer with Heat Pump 9kg is available from $1,899.
Exclusive to Harvey Norman, the Bespoke Grande AI Smart Washer with Less Microfibre Cycle 18kg is available for RRP $2,299 and the Bespoke Grande AI Smart Dryer with Heat Pump 10kg is available from $2,499.
Samsung’s 2023 Bespoke AirDresser keeps clothes fresh and sanitised from home. Pairing Wi-Fi enabled clothing care with a crystal mirror-finish design, the 2023 Bespoke AirDresser uses air and steam to gently remove up to 99.9% of certain bacteria and dust mites from fabric.
With a large capacity, the 2023 Bespoke Mirror AirDresser can fit up to five pants or five jackets, and includes a new long dress zone to freshen more clothes at once. Clothes can be refreshed in 20 minutes or users can choose one of 24 cycles for various fabrics from wool and linen to down and delicates.
The Bespoke Mirror AirDresser with sanitisation and wrinkle reduction is now available for RRP $2,999.
