Hisense has showcased its Mini LED TV range for 2024, including the flagship UXAU and U8 and U7 Series, representing the most innovative TV benchmark for Hisense to date.
The inclusion of QLED Quantum Dot, Dolby Vision IQ and 144Hz native now come as standard across the ULED range. The addition of IMAX Enhanced Certification – previously only available for the U8 Series and above – promises enhanced visuals from content on apps such as Disney+.
This year, Hisense’s Game Mode Pro will feature across the U7 Series (U7NAU) and above to activate essential gaming features when a console is plugged in. The new Hisense Game Bar pops up in place of on-screen settings when gaming consoles or PCs are in-use to see which features are active and track the current frames per second (FPS).
“Each year, we commit to delivering greater value to our customers through our advanced, premium technologies. With our elevated ULED benchmark, this year’s range gives customers confidence that they are buying technology that is at the height of innovation in home entertainment,” Hisense ANZ head of marketing, Gideon Lui said.
“The 2024 Hisense Mini LED TV range delivers a vivid viewing experience, even in the sunlit and airy living spaces of Australian homes. With impressive brightness and clarity, along with an expansive suite of features, owners of our new and premium range will enjoy Hisense’s best Mini LED TV viewing experience yet.”
Leading the 2024 range, the UXAU with Mini LED X technology will now be available in two additional screen sizes – 65-inch and 110-inch to cater for demand among those in smaller living spaces and those who want the most premium TV viewing experience on offer from Hisense.
The U8 Series (above) with Mini LED Pro technology will be available in 85-inch, joining other sizes ranging from 55-inch and up. The technologies incorporated in the U8NAU have significantly evolved, now boasting 1,000+ dimming zones and up to 2,000 nits of brightness – formerly 500+ and 1,300 respectively in 2023. The U8 Series also features a new aesthetic with audio capabilities located towards the rear of the unit, utilising up-firing speakers and a built-in subwoofer.
The U7 Series (above) will continue to be offered in screen sizes from 55-inch up to 100-inch. Throughout the range, Hisense has tripled the number of dimming zones compared to last year’s models with the 300+ built into the U7NAU.
Beyond the ULED line up, Hisense’s new U6 Series (above) offers an attainable entry into Mini LED, combined with Hisense’s wider range of UHD TVs. In line with demand, Hisense is introducing a new 100-inch model, the 100Q7AU with 144Hz QLED Quantum Dot and Full Array backlit screen.
“Our commitment to innovation drives us to continually redefine industry standards. The 2024 range demonstrates our dedication to delivering unmatched home entertainment experiences. With advancements in Mini-LED technology and offering the opportunity for our customers to go even bigger, we’re thrilled to bring a new level of immersive entertainment to Australian homes at attainable prices,” Lui said.
The operating system of all Hisense TVs has been streamlined for 2024, with Hisense’s proprietary operating system, VIDAA U7, featured across the entire TV range, including UHD and ULED products.
In 2024, Hisense debuts a new solar remote, compatible with its wider ULED range and soundbar. Located on the front of the remote, the solar panel harnesses ambient light to ensure continuous charge. The remote also incorporates USB-C charging, offering an alternative power source.
Hisense strengthens soundbar offering
The new Hisense soundbar range incorporates the flagship AX5120 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos Soundbar featuring seven speakers and improved sound direction with dedicated up-firing speakers and centre speaker for dialogue.
In addition to Hisense’s Pure Surround sound technology, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and EzPlay are key inclusions with the latter allowing the use of one remote for a Hisense TV and soundbar pairing.
Offering seven tailored sound modes, customers can benefit from customised audio profiles based on content – optimising the sound source from different media.
“Combining the strength of our ULED line-up and an improved user experience with VIDAA U7, alongside an impressive soundbar offering – we could not be prouder of the Hisense offering for Australian customers in 2024,” Lui said.
“We continue to listen to our customers and respond accordingly – this year’s range makes premium features available to more customers at a time when hip pocket pressure is at an all-time high. We’re focusing on what matters most – making those premium features relevant to our customers and easy to use.”
