Samsung has hosted its annual Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris, France, announcing the new Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, along with the Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro.
The slimmest and lightest Galaxy Z series to date incorporate Armor Aluminium and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, a dual rail hinge structure supported by a strengthened folding edge and enhanced layers on the main screen.
Both the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform for Galaxy – the most advanced Snapdragon mobile processor yet, optimised for AI processing and offering enhanced graphics along with improved overall performance. For the first time, a vapour chamber has been incorporated on the Galaxy Z Flip.
Galaxy Z Fold6
The Galaxy Z Fold6 delivers a 7.6-inch screen that offers a brighter display of up to 2,600 nits.
AI-powered features and tools are designed to maximise the screen and enhance productivity. For example, Note Assist offers translation, summaries and auto formatting for meeting notes. Plus, a newly embedded transcript feature enables transcription, translation and summarising of voice recordings directly in Notes.
Texts in PDF files can be translated and overlaid through PDF overlay translation feature in Samsung Notes. A newly added Composer from Samsung Keyboard generates text based on keywords for emails, social media posts and comments. With Sketch to Image, the S Pen can create AI-generated images.
Thanks to Samsung’s partnership with Google, Circle to Search offers instant search results with a long press of the home button and circle, highlight or tap of the screen.
Maximising its unique dual screen form factor, Interpreter (above) comes with a conversation mode that enables both parties to view translations on the main and cover screens for more natural interactions. Through Live Translate phone calls are directly translated on your device in real-time.
AI-powered ProVisual Engine takes creativity to the next level. The advanced editing experience with Photo Assist creates professional-grade content, while Portrait Studio creates different portrait styles such as 3D cartoon or watercolour for more creative possibilities.
Galaxy Z Flip6
The 3.4-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow has been enhanced, enabling AI-assisted functions without needing to open the device. It’s now possible to reply to texts with Suggested Replies, which analyses the latest messages to suggest a tailored response.
FlexWindow provides access to Samsung Health updates and notifications or select the next track on the music widget. For greater customisation, with the AI-powered Photo Ambient, a wallpaper can update in real-time based on the time and weather or create a unified look and feel with suggested screen layout options.
FlexCamcontinues to offer the most versatile camera experience and unlocks new creative options. With the new Auto Zoom, FlexCam automatically finds the best framing by detecting the subject and zooming in and out before making necessary adjustments.
New 50MP wideand 12MP ultra-wide sensorsprovide an upgraded camera experience. The new 50MP sensor supports two times optical quality zoom, while offering AI zoom for an advanced shooting experience with up to 10 times zoom.
Nightography, enhanced with video HDR, captures enhanced video content even in dim lighting and partners with social apps. For example, the night capturing feature is now available in-app on Instagram to message or share images directly from within the app.
Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro
With the power of Galaxy AI, the Galaxy Buds3 series brings a new communication experience. For example, if attending a class in a foreign language, turn on Interpreter in Listening mode on Galaxy Z Fold6 or Flip6 when wearing the Galaxy Buds3 series to hear direct translations. It’s also possible to control functions like music hands-free through Voice Command.
The microphones in the Buds3 series analyse both internal and external sound in real time to enhance sound and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) quality through Adaptive EQand Adaptive ANC. The Galaxy Buds3 Pro constantly collects and identifies surrounding sound to automatically adjust the optimal level of noise and sound through Adaptive Noise Control, Siren Detect, and Voice Detect.
The Galaxy Buds3 series comes with a new computational design. The premium blade design delivers a sleek and modern style complemented with Blade Lights, while allowing users to control the device by pinching or swiping up or down on the blade.
Galaxy Buds3 Pro is canal type for immersive sound, while Buds3 is open type for using the device in a variety of situations for an extended period of time.
Galaxy Buds3 Pro comes with enhanced two-way speakerswith planar tweeter for precise high range sound production, and Dual Amplifiersfor a clear sound experience on the go. Galaxy Ring features Samsung’s sensor technology in the smallest form. Designed for 24/7 wellness monitoring, Galaxy Ring is lightweight, weighing from 2.3 grams to 3 grams and available in three colours – Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold, along with a sizing kit to choose from nine size options.

The Heart Rate Alertfeature provides instant notifications regarding unusually high or low heart rates in real-time via the Samsung Health app, delivering details about heart rate including beats per minute, time start and time duration with Live Heart Rate Check.
Maintain an active lifestyle and stay motivated with automatic walking and running tracking via Auto Workout Detection, and daily fitness reminders with Inactive Alert.
