Gaggenau hosted an exclusive media event at Gaggenau Sydney in Surry Hills with a live culinary experience from the chefs at The Apollo to celebrate the launch of the Essential Induction, following its debut at Eurocucina in Milan.
A revolutionary innovation that redefines kitchen design, the Essential Induction combines the cooktop and worktop into a single, uninterrupted surface, where the cooktop remains concealed beneath the stone benchtop with no visible frames or gaps.
When activated, the benchtop transforms into a high-performance Gaggenau induction cooktop. The subtle and intelligent light dots connect the user to the cooking zone. With varying intensity and colour, the dot indicates whether the module is in use, if residual heat remains, or if it is safe to touch. Once the cooking is done, the dot vanishes.
The Essential Induction is available in a variety of 12mm Dekton worktop colours and finishes, with the ability to pair Gaggenau’s signature stainless steel or sleek black control knobs. The induction modules remain hidden and the surface is engineered to be both scratch- and heat-resistant.
