GreenPan has partnered with RecycleSmart and Minimax to launch the Great Green Pan Trade-In event, encouraging consumers to bring their old pots and pans to Minimax stores and be rewarded with a discount of up to 60% off the RRP of GreenPan products.

The event responds to recent scrutiny of cookware safety, particularly regarding PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances or ‘forever chemicals’). PFAS are man-made chemicals used for their water- and grease-resistant properties in items like non-stick frypans and fast-food wrappers. However, their persistence in the environment and human body raises significant health concerns.

Rather than relying on ‘forever chemicals’ for its cookware coating, GreenPan utilises its innovative Thermolon technology – the first toxin-free alternative to conventional non-stick coatings. This means it contains no PFAS, PFOA, lead, or cadmium without compromising on quality.

GreenPan cookware offers excellent heat distribution and non-stick properties, making it ideal for various cooking methods. Plus, GreenPan’s commitment to reducing waste and encouraging recycling aligns with the rising demand for environmentally conscious products.

By trading in old cookware, consumers are not only upgrading their kitchen but also joining a movement dedicated to health and sustainability.
