The 150-inch Hisense Laser TV is now set to be mass-produced, as announced by the company at the 2024 Laser Display Technology and Industry Development Conference in Qingdao, China.

The consumption of 100-inch TVs has grown exponentially in recent years, with Laser TVs one of the biggest driving forces. The global shipment market share of Hisense Laser TVs is up to 58.4%, firmly ranking as first in the world.

According to Omdia data, Hisense ranked number two globally for TV shipments and number one in 100-inch TVs in both 2023 and first half of 2024.

At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Hisense’s In-Vehicle Projection System won the CES 2024 Innovation Award and more recently at IFA in Berlin, Hisense Laser TV’s lineup of 100-inch screens won the Gold Award for Large Screen Display Technology.

Hisense Visual Technology president, Dennys Li delivered a keynote speech at the conference.

Moving forward, Hisense will cooperate closely with industry partners in the future advancement of screen technology to further enlarge viewing experiences. Advances include more professional gaming displays, new light and shadow artistic creation methods, enhanced cultural tourism displays, and now an entry into professional film production.

Hisense Laser TVs break the limitations of space, colour, and cost. Beyond that, the future of Laser display will offer increased AI interaction and more energy savings. With the trend of ultra-large screens gradually becoming mainstream, the 150-inch Hisense Laser TV will satisfy consumption demand for big-screen laser TVs.

While exhibiting new achievements in Laser display technologies, the Laser Display Technology and Industry Development Conference explored new ideas for the development of laser display from multiple dimensions including scenarios, products, technologies, and industries.
