Arlo is launching the Essential 2K (2nd Generation) XL camera, offering four times more battery life compared to the current Essential 2K model, for a $40 premium.
The Arlo Essential 2K XL sets a new standard in home security with its battery life, lasting far longer on a single charge. The camera captures detail in 2K resolution, ensuring clarity in all situations, day or night with a weather-resistant design that’s suitable for outdoor conditions.
Equipped with night vision technology, the camera provides clear footage even in low-light conditions. Communicate directly through the camera with built-in two-way audio to interact with visitors or deter potential intruders. Users can also receive instant notifications for motion detection and sound alerts.
The Essential 2K XL is available via major retailers and the Arlo website. The single camera can be purchased for RRP $199 and the three-camera bundle, initially exclusive to Bunnings, for RRP $569.
Each purchase includes a complimentary three-month trial of Arlo Secure, a service plan that provides additional features such as cloud storage and advanced AI detection.
