Mitsubishi Electric has added a compact French Door refrigerator to its LX Series line.
“Through continuous dialogue with Australian consumers, we identified a clear demand for a more compact French door fridge within our premium LX Series. The introduction of the MR-LX442EX with 442L capacity, is a direct response to this feedback,” Mitsubishi Electric Australia home appliance product manager, Jean-Marc Adele said.
Designed specifically for smaller kitchen spaces, the new refrigerator retains the series’ signature wide interior storage space within more compact dimensions, with separate freezer and vegetable drawers for enhanced accessibility.
The LX series features a Supercool chilling case for storing meats, fish, and other perishables. It maintains a temperature of approximately -3° to 0°C to keep contents cooled without freezing and for cooking food without defrosting.
There is also a vegetable drawer with a built-in VitaLED light, designed to maximise the freshness of produce, with higher humidity than the main refrigerator compartment.
The automatic ice maker requires no plumbing connection and features a removable 1.1L water tank, integrated without using any refrigerator storage space. The fridge carries a four-star energy rating, a five-year parts and labour warranty and a 10-year parts warranty on the inverter compressor.
The MR-LX442EX is available in Dark Silver, Brilliant Black and Glacier White glass front panel finishes.
