For improved gameplay, Acer has announced performance and feature upgrades to its line of Predator gaming laptops.
All Acer laptops are powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 275HX and next-gen NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs for increased gaming and AI performance.
Supported by NVIDIA Blackwell, GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs offer AI power, improved graphics and increased speed. Users can also access NVIDIA NIM Microservices for top-tier AI models that enable developers to build AI assistants and agents for peak performance on NIM-ready systems. All Predator Gaming Laptops come with an included three-month PC Game Pass.
Predator Helios 16 AI and 18 AI Gaming Laptops
The two new gaming laptops in the Predator range are the Helios 16 AI and Helios 18 AI. The Predator Helios 16 AI (PH16-73) are ideal for gamers and professionals seeking a mid-sized powerful laptop that is easily transportable to tournaments, LAN sessions and work. The Predator Helios 18 AI (PH18-73) offers desktop-level performance, a larger screen and immersive gaming experiences.
Both laptops feature an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 275HX with NPU for AI-enhanced performance, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with the most recent NVIDIA DLSS technologies for premium graphical gaming.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU provides more than 150 AI apps on PC using NVIDIA GPUs and RTX Tensor Cores to accelerate AI efficiency and allow access to the top AI apps for LLMs, visual asset generation and more.
The Helios 16 AI can store up to 64GB of memory and supports up to 4TB of PCle Gen 5 storage. The Helios 18 AU supports an impressive 192GB of memory and 6TB of PCle Gen 5 storage. Both Predator devices feature the best thermal technology and proprietary 6th Gen AeroBlade 3D metal fans. These are the world’s thinnest cooling flan blades at just 0.05mm, increasing airflow by 20% when compared to plastic fans.
The Helios 16 AI is supported by an OLED WQXGA display (2560×1600) with a 240Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the Helios 18 AI boasts a 4K Mini LED WQXGA display and a 120 HZ refresh rate with up to 1000 nits of brightness and a dual-mode display for seamless improvement of FHD resolution into 240 Hz using the PredatorSense application. Both support NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and MUX Switch.
The per-key RGB keyboards include Acer’s MagKey 4.0 swappable mechanical switches for the WASD and arrow keys for improved trigger signal accuracy with just 0.3 mm of key travel to register a press. RGB lighting is featured on the top lid, rear frame, left edges and right-side palm rest for a personalised gaming experience.
Both laptops come equipped with the latest PredatorSense utility app for control of the system’s performance, fans and lighting. AI-powered features include Acer PurifiedView 2.0, Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 and Acer ProCam for automatic recording of gameplay highlights. DTS:X Ultra offers distortion-free audio, with four speakers on the Helios 16 AI and six speakers on the Helios 18 AI.

Predator Helios Neo 16S AI Laptop
The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI laptop (above) features a 19.9 mm slim design, built to support gaming and creativity at a more affordable price point.
Housing the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 275HX with integrated PBU for AI and gaming, it also includes the latest NVIDIA DLSS technology for performance, image quality and responsiveness. The laptop supports 32 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage and is boosted by the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU.
The OLED WQXGA display supports a 240Hz refresh rate and wide colour gamut, with 100% DCI-P3 for best-in-class visuals. Advanced thermals include Acer’s 5th Gen AeroBlade technology and liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU. The laptop supports NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and a MUX Switch. Users can access the PredatorSense App for real-time control over system adjustments and an Experience Zone for a suite of AI features.
Predator XB323QX
Immersive gameplay is made possible with the Predator XB323QX gaming monitor. The 31.5-inch IPS display includes a 144 Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms (GTG) response time, with the option to switch to WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution at 288 Hz with Dynamic Frequency and Resolution Technology plus NVIDIA G-SYNC Pulsar. The monitor provides 4x more effective motion clarity, true 10-bit colour depth and cinematic visuals enhanced by 95% DCI-P3 or 99% sRGB colour gamut support. Connectivity is improved with DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports.
The monitor features an adjustable tilt, swivel and height for improved gameplay, and can also be wall-mounted to save desk space. Integrated 2-watt speakers enhance audio quality, while the Acer display widget boosts control and calibration.
