TCL Communication has released the Alcatel 1SE in Australia, offering a 87.18% screen to body ratio and AI triple rear camera, among other premium features for sub-$200.
The AI triple-camera setup with 13MP main lens, 5MP super wide-angle and 2MP depth lens, features AI scene detection to automatically optimise the setting in real time to capture 12 different subjects and scenes.
The camera is complemented by the 6.22-inch HD+ Vast Display, 4,000mAh battery, 4+64GB memory and fingerprint security, as well as a powerful octa-core processor for smoother multi-tasking and fast downloads. There is also a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side of the phone.
Alcatel vice president and regional managing director for Southeast Asia and Pacific, Sam Skontos said affordable smartphones play an essential role by making technology accessible to those who can’t afford or don’t want to fork out for a flagship smartphone.
“We take pride in being able to drive inclusions and offer consumers features that were in much more expensive devices just a few short years ago,” he said.
