Amazon Australia has confirmed its two-week Black Friday sales event will kick off from 00:01am AEDT 19 November until 11:59pm AEDT 2 December with hundreds of thousands of discounted products across all categories including electronics and homewares.
Amazon Australia Marketplace country manager, Amit Mahto said, “Black Friday is always a great opportunity for customers to get everything they need for the holidays, from their gifts for under the tree, to their everyday essentials for holiday hosting and even the Christmas pudding for the festive feast.”
Prime membership offers more value with access to exclusive shopping events, free shipping on eligible items and a suite of entertainment benefits. New customers in Australia can join Prime with a 30-day free trial, then pay $9.99 per month or $79 for an annual membership.
Amazon Australia has collaborated with award-winning pastry chef and TV personality, Anna Polyviou, and country Victorian small business, Pud For All Seasons, to transform the beloved Christmas pudding.
The limited edition ‘Amazon Everything Christmas Pudding’ will be available exclusively on the Amazon website, blending the flavours of a traditional pudding with essence of ham, turkey, gravy, pumpkin, cherry, rosemary and more.
“I loved the challenge of turning a traditional Christmas pudding into a pudding fit for our great nation in partnership with pud experts ‘Pud for all Seasons’. Christmas is one of the only times where anything and everything goes. We not only mix mouthfuls, but flavours too, and that’s the magic we wanted to recreate in the ‘Amazon Everything Christmas Pudding’,” Polyviou said.
Pud For All Seasons founder, Karen Kelly said, “We had fun adapting our traditional plum pudding recipe to incorporate a huge range of the many flavours of an Australian Christmas.
